The following are death notices with information about the deceased person’s funeral service and memorial contributions.  Detailed obituary information is printed in the Montgomery County Chronicle at the request of the family.  The cost for printing the full obituary is $20.  All death notices are free.

Melba Jean Labadie

CANEY — Melba Jean Labadie, age 92, of Caney died Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2013, at the Caney Nursing Center.

 

Family viewing will be from 10 a.m. to noon Friday, Jan. 18, at McCartney’s Johnson Funeral Home in Pawhuska, Okla. Graveside services will follow at 2 p.m., at the Pawhuska City Cemetery.

 

Etta Cosby Waller

PARSONS — Etta Cosby Waller, age 94, of Parsons and formerly of the Cherryvale area, died Monday, Jan. 14, 2013 at Labette Health in Parsons.

 

Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m., Friday, Jan. 18, 2013,  at the First Baptist Church of Parsons.  Burial will be in Mount Pleasant Cemetery at Altamont.  The family will receive friends at the Carson-Wall Funeral Home from 6 to 7 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 17.

Lee Sylvester Wade

COFFEYVILLE — Lee Sylvester Wade, age 90, of Coffeyville  died Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2013 at Windsor Place.

 

Cremation has taken place, and the family will hold a private inurnment at Fairview Cemetery in Coffeyville, Kansas.  Ford-Wulf-Bruns Chapel will be handling the arrangements.

 

Tony Banzet

COFFEYVILLE — Tony Banzet, age 57, of Edna, died Friday, Jan. 11, 2013 at his home.

 

Services will be at 11 a.m., Saturday, Jan. 19, 2013 at the First Baptist Church in Edna with Rev. Charles Evans officiating.  Burial will be in Lake Creek Cemetery west of Bartlett.

 

Friends may call on Friday, Jan. 18, from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the David W. Barnes Funeral Home in Coffeyville.

 

Cheryl Hunnicutt

COFFEYVILLE — Cheryl Hunnicutt, age 66, of Coffeyville died Monday, Jan. 7, 2013, at Tulsa, Okla.

 

A memorial service was held Saturday, Jan. 12, at the Church of Christ in Coffeyville.

 

David W. Barnes Funeral Home of Coffeyville handled funeral arrangements.

 

Mara Irene Grant

INDEPENDENCE — Mara Irene Grant, infant daughter of Roland Grant and Magan I. Cudney of Independence, was stillborn Sunday, Jan. 6, 2013, at the Labette Health Center in Parsons.

 

Cremation has taken place under the direction of the Potts Chapel of Independence.

 

Clela Mae Butler

COFFEYVILLE — Clela Mae Butler, age 85, of Rowlett, Texas, and formerly of Tulsa, and Coffeyville, died Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2013 at her daughter’s home in Rowlett, Texas.

 

Celebration of Life services were held Saturday, Jan. 12, at the Ford-Wulf-Bruns Chapel in Coffeyville.  Burial followed in the Fairview Cemetery under the direction of the Ford-Wulf-Bruns Chapel.

 

 

Richard L. Plumley

CHERRYVALE — Richard L. Plumley, age 61, of Cherryvale, Kansas. Sadly we announce the passing of our husband, father, grandfather and friend on January 6, 2013.  He passed away enjoying one of his favorite pastimes, hunting.

 

Cremation has taken place under the direction of Wickham Family Funeral Home, 216 E. Fourth, in Cherryvale.  No services are planned at this time.

 

In lieu of flowers, memorial remembrances may be made to the donor’s favorite outdoor youth activity in honor of Richard. Memorials may be left with Wickham Family Funeral Home.

 

Peggy L. Woodworth

CANEY – Peggy L. Woodworth, age 60, of Caney died Dec. 29, 2012, at St. John Medical Center in Tulsa, Okla.

 

Peggy was cremated with a private service to be held at a later time as per her wishes.

 

 

Arthur “Reed” Eikenberry

CHERRYVALE — Arthur “Reed” Eikenberry, age 91, of Cherryvale died Saturday, Jan. 5, 2013, at Jane Phillips Medical Center in Bartlesville, Okla.

 

Funeral services were held Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2013, at the Wickham Family Funeral Home, 216 East 4th Street, Cherryvale with the Revs. Susan Brown and Bill Booe officiating.  No visitation was held.

Interment was held at Fairview Cemetery in Cherryvale.

 

Memorial remembrances are suggested to the Cherryvale United Methodist Church or the Cherryvale EMS and they may be left at Wickham Family Funeral Home.

 

 

Linda Louise Conrad Stacy

RICHLAND, Wash. — Cherryvale native Linda Louise Conrad Stacy, age 72, surrounded by family, passed on Sunday, Dec. 30, 2012, at Kadlec Hospital after suffering an unexpected heart attack.

 

A memorial service will be held at Einan’s Memories at Sunset Event Center Saturday, Jan. 5, 2013. Funeral services were arranged through Einan’s Funeral Home in Richland, Wash.

COFFEYVILLE — Timothy Allen Hansen, age 56, died Coffeyville at his home surrounded by his family, on Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2013.

Coffeyville – Baylie Rae Gillespie, 18 month old daughter of Angel Ellyson and Kyle Gillespie of Coffeyville, died Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2012 at Mercy Hospital in Independence.

 

Funeral services were held Monday, Jan. 7, at the Westside Christian Church, 402 N. Ohio, Coffeyville.  Burial followed in Restlawn Memorial Park.
