Two dead, two others wounded in Coffeyville; investigation continues

COFFEYVILLE — The Coffeyville Police Department is continuing to investigate a shooting incident which occurred near 303 S. Linden at approximately 11:45 p.m., on Friday, Sept. 28. During this incident two individuals were fatally shot, and a third shooting victim was treated and released from the hospital.

 

The two deceased victims have been identified as James D. Logan, age 32, of Coffeyville, and Latrell D. Boyd, age 31, of Pine Bluff, Ark. The third victim who received non-life threatening injuries was identified as Jeremy T. Jordan, age 20, of Coffeyville.

A second, possible related shooting occurred at 604 Waverly Way, at approximately 1:15 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 29. During this incident, Anthony D. Wilson, age 39, of Coffeyville received a non-life threatening gunshot wound.

 

These investigations are ongoing with the assistance of the Kansas Bureau of Investigations and the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office. No arrests have been made however a possible suspect has been identified and is wanted for questioning.
