CANEY — Sherri Dawn McBride, age 59, of Caney died Saturday, Aug. 4, 2012 at Mercy Hospital in Independence.

Celebration of Life Services will be held at 10:00 am, Thursday, Aug. 9, 2012 at the Assembly of God Church in Caney with the Rev. Mike Morris officiating. Burial will follow in the Sunnyside Cemetery in Caney under the direction of the Potts Chapel in Caney.

Visitation hours will be held from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 8, 2012 with the family receiving friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., at the Potts Chapel in Caney.

The family suggests memorials to the Kidney Foundation and the Assembly of God Church, Caney.  Contributions may be left at the Potts Chapel in Caney.
