COFFEYVILLE — Colten Lee Bradshaw, infant son of Aaron Bradshaw of Bartlesville and Samantha Bush of Coffeyville, died Saturday, May 26, 2012 at Coffeyville Regional Medical Center.

 

The family has selected cremation and no services are scheduled at this time. Cremation is being provided by Penwell-Gabel Ford-Wulf-Bruns Chapel in Coffeyville.

CANEY — Alta B. Vining, age 94, of Caney died Friday, May 25, 2012 at the Regal Estates in Independence.

 

Celebration of Life Services will be held at 1  p.m., Wednesday, May 30, at the Caney United Methodist Church with the Pastor Bob Clemence officiating. Burial will follow in the Robbins Cemetery under the direction of the Potts Chapel in Caney.

 

Visitation hours will be held from noon to 8 p.m., Tuesday, May 29, 2012 with the family receiving friends from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Potts Chapel in Caney.

 

The family has suggested memorials to the Caney United Methodist Church, and contributions may be left at the Potts Chapel in Caney.

COFFEYVILLE — Charles K. Ferguson, age 79, of Coffeyville died Friday May 25, 2012 at Coffeyville Regional Medical Center.

 

Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 29, at the Trinty Lutheran Chruch in Caney. Burial will be in Trinty Lutheran Cemetery southwest of Tyro.

A graveside memorial service was held Saturday, May 19, at Robbins Cemetery west of Coffeyville under the direction of Penwell-Gabel – Ford-Wulf-Bruns Chapel.

CHERRYVALE — Katherine Ann “Katie” Pearson, age 23, of Cherryvale died in a vehicle accident on Wednesday, May 16, 2012.

 

A funeral service was held Saturday, May 19 at the First Baptist Church in Independence.  Penwell-Gabel Webb & Rodrick Chapel handled funeral arrangements.

CANEY — Cleo L. Allison, age 85, of Coffeyville and formerly of Caney, died Wednesday, May 23, 2012.

 

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, May 29, at the Caney First Baptist Church. Pastor DeWitt will officiate. Internment will follow at Sunnyside Cemetery in Caney.

 

Friends may call on Monday, May 28 from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. at Penwell-Gabel Ford-Wulf-Bruns Chapel in Coffeyville to sign the guest register.

BARTLESVILLE — Former Caney resident Charles Jackson Woodall, 84, of Bartlesville, passed away on Friday, May 11, 2012, at his home following a brief illness.

 

Services were  held at 1 p.m., Tuesday, May 15, at the Caney United Methodist Church. The Reverend Jeff Burress of East Cross Methodist Church officiated. Burial followed at Sunnyside Cemetery in Caney.

Gabriel Toothman

IOLA, Kan. — On April 10, 2012 Gabriel Toothman was found dead in the city of Iola, Kansas.

 

His family will hold a memorial service at Logan Park in Cherryvale on Friday, May 18 beginning at 5 p.m. All friends and classmates of Gabriel are invited to attend.

 

The family will provide meat and drinks, they ask if possible for a side dish from those attending.

 

Bring all the memories and stories about Gabriel so everyone can remember and reminisce about Gabriel.

 

Don Dancer

Independence — Don Dancer, age 86, died Sunday, May 13, 2012 in Hickory, N.C., after a long illness. He had moved to Hickory recently to be closer to family and had been in failing health for several months.
Graveside services were held Wednesday, May 16 at Mount Hope Cemetery in Independence under the direction of Penwell-Gabel Webb and Rodrick Chapel.

 

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be given to the book of remembrance of The First Presbyterian Church of Independence or AWOL-(Animals With Our Love).
