Two Coffeyville people were arrested following a search for a drugs at a local residence on Tuesday, Dec. 13.
Joe Humble, Coffeyville police chief, said Nelson L. Hare, age 41, of 1318 W. 1st, and Ray F. Tesh, age 40, of Rt. 4, Coffeyville, were arrested after law enforcement found drugs, weapons, cash and drug paraphernalia at Hare’s home on Tuesday evening.
Hare is charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, no Kansas drug tax stamp, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Tesh is to be charged with aiding and abetting possession of marijuana with intent to distribute.
Additional arrests may be forthcoming pending further investigation.
The Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Department assisted with the narcotics investigation.
