Oswego hospital files for Chapter 11

The Oswego Community Hospital and its parent company, HMC/CAH Consolidated, Inc., have filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy. Officials say finances of the company which operates 12 hospitals are in need of restructuring. In the meantime, they emphasize that the local hospital remains open and actively involved in the treatment of patients. See a complete story in this week’s Labette Avenue.
