The name of a Chautauqua County firefighters who died in the line of duty in 2010 will be added to a state memorial that commemorates the sacrifice of Kansas firefighters. At a ceremony at the Kansas Fallen Firefighters Memorial in Wichita on Saturday, Oct. 22, the name of Harold D. Reed Sr., chief of the Peru Fire Department No. 3, will be added to the memorial.
